Bjorn Wirdheim joins Greaves Motorsport for Six Hours of Sao Paulo

Greaves Motorsport is pleased to confirm their third driver for the Six Hours of Sao Paulo, the fourth round of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship, taking place next Sunday in Brazil. Joining Christian Zugel and Gunnar Jeannette at the famous Interlagos circuit will be experienced Swede, Bjorn Wirdheim.

Wirdheim has an impressive record in both single seaters and sportscar racing. He was the 2003 FIA Formula 3000 International Drivers Champion and the following season was the official Test and Reserve Driver for the Jaguar Racing F1 Team. In recent years he has raced mainly in Japan, competing in Formula Nippon and latterly Super GT for Lexus and Nissan in GT500 class. This season he joined the Gainer Team driving their Dixcel Gainer Mercedes SLS AMG in the GT300 class, scoring one victory so far and is in close contention for the title.
